With over eight years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), our practice brings together professional expertise and a genuine passion for making a difference. We recognize that no two individuals are alike, and neither should their journeys be. We take time to listen, understand, and work alongside families to create support that is as unique as the individuals we serve.
Proudly serving Ocala and surrounding communities throughout Marion, Sumter, and nearby counties, Bee Yourself is more than a name. It's a reflection of what we believe every individual deserves: the freedom to grow, learn, and thrive while always being themselves.
Meet the Founder
Hi, I'm Tara! I'm a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and the founder of Bee Yourself.
For over eight years, I've had the privilege of working with some truly incredible individuals and families. My journey began as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). It led me to earn both my bachelor's and master's degrees in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), along with a certificate in Autism Studies, before becoming a BCBA.
But what I love most about this field is how much I've learned from the very people I've had the opportunity to support. Each person has brought something special into my life, challenged me to see things differently, and helped shape not only the BCBA I am today, but the person I am.
As a bonus mom to a child with autism, this journey is personal to me, too. I know that progress doesn't always look the way others expect it to, and sometimes the moments that seem small to the outside world mean absolutely everything to a family. Those moments deserve to be celebrated!
That's why I created Bee Yourself. I wanted to bring everything I've learned, both personally and professionally, into a practice where individuals have a voice in their own journey, their choices matter, and they're encouraged to grow in ways that are meaningful to them. Most importantly, I want every individual and family to know they are seen, valued, and supported every step of the way.
